General Responsibility

Promotes and sells our product to retailers while building strong relationships and providing the highest level of customer service. Our Sales Relief will strive to meet or exceed all sales goals as assigned by management.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Has working knowledge of the entire portfolio of brands.
  • Has working knowledge of sale history for each account.
  • Meets or exceeds all sales volume goals.
  • Meets or exceeds all sales display goals.
  • Meets or exceeds all sales distribution goals.
  • Meets or exceeds all sales standard goals.
  • Prepares and works from a daily itinerary with a minimum of 2 sales objectives for each account.
  • Prepares, carries and utilizes all necessary sales support tools.
  • Announces self and establishes a positive relationship with each retailer.
  • Surveys the entire account for display, promotion, distribution (resets) and POS opportunities.
  • Maintains product rotation and freshness in all assigned accounts.
  • Merchandises the account with current POS as needed.
  • Takes inventories for all products and recommends inventory increases when necessary.
  • Sell in objectives for the account and works to overcome objections from the retailer.
  • Secures the commitment, closes the sale and thanks the retailer.
  • Adheres to all applicable Federal, State and Local safety regulations when using equipment and vehicles.
  • Operates in a safe manner and promotes safety during all working hours.
  • Creates and maintains positive and open lines of communication between all working departments.
  • Works to resolve all customer complaints within 24 hours and ensures there are no recurring problems.
  • Promotes responsible consumption throughout the marketplace.
  • Maintains appropriate business professional dress and appearance.
  • Attends all meetings, promotional activities and company functions when requested.
  • Performs any other necessary duties as directed by management.
Job Requirements
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license
  • Maintains reliable transportation with sufficient insurance liability coverage on their automobile.
  • Has no major driving violations within the last (2) years, and no more than (3) minor violations within the last (2) years.
  • Maintains handheld unit and cellphone in working order
