  • Hamilton Distributing, Inc. of Hamilton, Ohio was purchased by Arthur J. Stagnaro in 1975 and originally was a 900,000 case Miller, Pabst, Heineken, Molson distributor servicing Butler and Preble counties in southwest Ohio.
  • In the mid 80’s Arthur J. Stagnaro became the first Coors distributor in Cincinnati with his then partner Johnny Bench, former Hall of Fame catcher with the Cincinnati Reds, together they formed Johnny Bench Distributing.
  • In the late 80’s Arthur J. Stagnaro sold his interest in the Cincinnati Coors distributor to Joe Coors and retained his Miller, Pabst, Heineken, Molson distributor named Hamilton Distributing, located in Hamilton, Ohio.
  • In 1995 and 1997 respectively, two of Arthur’s son’s Michael and Chris took over the managing control of the company and quickly started an aggressive growth strategy. At the time Hamilton Distributing was a 1 million case Miller, Pabst, Heineken, Molson distributor servicing Butler and Preble counties in southwest Ohio.
  • In February 2003, Hamilton Distributing sold its Ohio beer distribution rights to Bonbright Distributing of Dayton, Ohio and then purchased Miller Brands of Northern Kentucky (DBA Dennert Distributing of Northern Kentucky). Miller Brands was a 2.28 million case Miller, Coors, all other distributor representing over 20 suppliers and servicing 8 counties in Northern Kentucky. The company was renamed Stagnaro Distributing, Inc. in 2005 and is currently located in Erlanger, Kentucky.
  • In December 2003, Stagnaro Distributing purchased another Ohio Miller, Pabst distributor named Hi-Port Distributing. Hi-Port, was a distributor that sold approximately 500,000 cases and covered 4 counties east of Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • In November 2004, Stagnaro Distributing purchased a 50% equity position in Dennert of Ohio, LLC. The Dennert of Ohio, LLC owned distribution rights to Coors, Warsteiner USA, Spaten North America, and Christian Moerlein brands within Hamilton County, Ohio (metro Cincinnati). The Dennert of Ohio, LLC sold approximately 700,000 cases annually.
  • In February 2008, Stagnaro Distributing purchased Hoberg Distributing Company of Batavia, Ohio. The Hoberg name was retained and the new name of the operating company was Hoberg Distributing, LLC. Hoberg was a 300,000 case Coors, Heineken, other distributor servicing Clermont, Brown, Adams, Clinton, and Highland counties in southwest Ohio.
  • By February 2008, Stagnaro Distributing had grown to just under 4 million cases covering 6 counties in southwest Ohio and 10 counties in Northern Kentucky representing over 30 suppliers.
  • In February 2009, Stagnaro Distributing purchased the remaining 50% interest in the Dennert of Ohio, LLC and certain assets of the H. Dennert Corporation. H. Dennert was a 3 million case MillerCoors, Magic Hat distributor servicing the Cincinnati market area. After the acquisition, the Dennert of Ohio, LLC and the Hoberg Distributing operating division of Batavia, Ohio were both consolidated into the Stagnaro Distributing Ohio operating division located at 351 Wilmer Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Today, Stagnaro Distributing, Inc. of Erlanger, Kentucky and Stagnaro Distributing, LLC of Cincinnati, Ohio together sell more than 7 million cases annually representing more then 50 suppliers from around the world. The two companies service more then 3,000 retailers in 19 counties in Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio and operate out of two facilities located in Erlanger, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. Both companies operate under the same trade name of Stagnaro Distributing.
